Kimberly Lauren Bryant
Photographer and Creative Marketing Strategist
I'm a Canadian marketing strategist, marketing director, and photographer based in Berlin, working with clients worldwide. For 13+ years I've helped founders, businesses, and thought leaders clarify their positioning, turn strategy into campaigns that convert, and create the visual presence to match.
Driven by interests in film, contemporary art, and culture, my passion for creative expression shapes who I am and how I interact with the world. I hold a degree in Visual Arts (Studio Arts) from the University of British Columbia and am a graduate of TCI's Emerging Photographer Program, specializing in portraiture and events.
My writing & photography have been published in The Huffington Post, Start Journal, and Photojournale, among others. I’ve written more than 2,000 published articles; interviewed many creative professionals; and was a former regular contributor at several arts & culture publications. I’ve been working remotely since 2011.
In addition to being extremely passionate about my work, I have also been shaped by years of both travelling and living across 4 continents in places like Thailand, India, Uganda, Canada, and now Berlin. These intercultural experiences allow me to speak to a wide range of people – and make a brand feel true to its own unique audience.
I’ve worked with 65+ clients and companies to create compelling copy, digital strategies, and photography to help them get clear, get seen, and grow.
My approach is calm, focused, and geared toward lasting results: I help people and businesses grow, reinvent, and step into their next chapter…with courage and integrity.
Location: Berlin and online; I work with clients worldwide.
Marketing Strategy & Leadership
I partner with clients long-term to sharpen brand strategy and positioning, plan campaigns, and set up practical marketing systems that actually run (including strategy, copywriting, email, launches, and content, across B2B and B2C). I also source, brief, and direct the right specialists, when needed, so you get senior judgment and the right team without managing it all yourself.
Portrait & Event Photography
A great photo does more than just look good – it works for your brand around the clock. Because I understand marketing and business, I direct every shoot so the images serve your messaging. I do brand, portrait, and event work for clients like Christian Dior, Semrush, and Tokyo Biennale, plus conferences, executive portraits, and personal-brand sessions. Images are delivered ready to use across web, print, LinkedIn, PR, and social.
Frequently Asked Questions
PHOTOGRAPHY
-
We start with a short conversation about what you need the images for, then plan the shoot around that – studio or location, timing, and look. On the day I direct you the whole way through, so there's no guessing about what to do. You receive edited, high-resolution images ready to use across web, LinkedIn, print, and PR.
-
This is the most common thing I hear before a shoot – and consistently, those same clients tell me afterward they enjoyed it. My job is to direct you so you're never left guessing, and to make the session feel easy. You don't need to know how to pose.
-
Each type of session – portrait, headshot, or creative – has its own set rate, which can vary depending on what you need (session length, location, and how many final images). Studio sessions suit corporate headshots; outdoor sessions suit more creative, personal-brand portraits. Tell me what you're planning and I'll send you a quote.
-
Event coverage is priced by the hour or by the day, with the rate depending on the length of the event, the type of coverage you need, and how quickly you need the final images. Conferences, corporate functions, and private events each have their own considerations. Tell me the date, location, and rough running time, and I'll send you a quote.
-
Because I also work in marketing and branding, I direct every shoot so the images serve your messaging – not just flattering photos, but images that work for your brand across every channel. I've done brand, portrait, and event work for clients including Christian Dior, Semrush, and Tokyo Biennale.
MARKETING & STRATEGY
-
You get senior marketing leadership – strategy, campaign direction, and the right systems – for a set amount of time per week or month, instead of a full-time hire. I partner long-term to sharpen positioning, plan and run campaigns, and set up marketing that actually runs. I can also source and direct specialists so you get the right team without managing it yourself.
-
It depends on scope. Consulting and project work has set rates; ongoing fractional leadership is a day rate or monthly retainer based on days per week. Tell me a bit about your business and what you’re needing, and I'll give you a quote.

A few selected numbers: I grew an email list from under 100 to 15,000+ subscribers with 40–60%+ open rates sustained over eight years; directed paid campaigns delivering 4×+ return on ad spend; grew a brand's Instagram from ~7,000 to 100,000+ followers in about four months; and helped launch a YouTube channel that grew from 0 to 20,000+ subscribers. Happy to walk you through any of them. What’s more important than the numbers is how and we achieved them and why.
